My mom and I just got home from a quick trip to BC over Spring Break to see the fam! We had a blast! We spent the first two days in Victoria on Vancouver Island...that's one of my favorite places in the world! We went to the wax museum where my cousin pretended he was a wax figure and scared some people! We also did some shopping and I got myself a Beatles wallet and checkbook cover, and my mom bought me another Beatles purse! Just a word of warning...watch out for the seagulls...they have good aim...through an open sunroof of a car! The next two days we spent in Vancouver visiting all the family and going to the beach in White Rock where we saw a Johnny Depp look-alike! I'm moving to White Rock to work at the fish and chips restaurant where he works...they're hiring! I think it's fate! I don't think I've ever been to Starbucks as much in my life as we did on this trip...I think I'm addicted to those Chai Tea Lattes...or Tai Chi as I've been calling them! I brought home a full carry-on bag of only food...nothing like some Canadian junk food! They just don't make stuff like that here in the States!

Hello everyone!
My life is starting to get crazy again, with work and school, and callings in church, but I'm loving it! I just started school again this week at the University Of Utah. My major is Family and Consumer Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Education. Meaning, when I finish the degree and my one year cohort, I can open a daycare, or teach Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
I was approached with an offer of a Supervisor position in my department at work, but my new school schedule would interfere with the job. I just don't think that I'm willing to give up school right now...not when I'm so close to being finished! So, for now, I'll stick with my current position, unless they make me an offer I can't refuse!
I'm still playing the piano at church and am a Visiting Teaching Supervisor. It's a good calling for me...I get to make lots of phone calls!
Other than that, not much else is going on...

Swimming with the stringrays in the Cayman Islands.
Supposedly if you kiss a stingray, it's 7 years of good luck. What a crock! After that, there was an incident involving an escalator, luggage, and my body...resulting in both of my legs being cut and bruised from the knee down. Then I smashed my finger and got a blood blister under the nail. I also lost a contact in the Dunn's River Falls, and cut my knee open somewhere on the climb up...and finally, I slipped on the wet floor near the pool and bruised my behind! I'm not usually this clumsy, I swear! Beware of those stingrays!
